Many people and events have shaped Eighth Day Sound into the company it is today.  While there are many ways to recount the history of the company, none would be complete without mentioning some of the major milestones reached along the way.

1980 - Eighth Day Sound Systems, Inc. founded

1982 - First Tour - The Thompson Twins

1983- First Stadium System Deployed - Coca-Cola Plum Fest, Cleveland Stadium

1987- First Arena Tour - Jethro Tull "Crest of a Knave Tour"

1994 - $1,000,000 plus Turbosound order becomes largest ever in live sound history - PSN June 1994

1996 - Initial investment in d&b audiotechnik 

1997 - Installation Department founded

2001 - Eighth Day Sound Systems, Inc. builds new Headquarters

2001 - Placed largest single L'Acoustics V-Dosc & Lab Gruppen amplifier order ever

2003 - First Worldwide Stadium Tour - Eminem "Anger Management Tour"

2004 - First year supporting a #1 Top grossing world tour - Prince "Musicology Tour"

2008 - Present, Largest inventory of d&b audiotechnik products worldwide

2009 - Eighth Day Sound UK, Ltd. founded

2009 - 5 simultaneous stadium tours supported worldwide

2011 - UK warehouse expanded

2012 - 2015, Supported the #1 Top grossing world tour

2014 - Eighth Day Sound Australia Pty. Ltd. founded

2014 - Initial investment in Adamson Systems

2015 - US & Australia warehouses expanded

2016 - Eighth Day Sound L.A. warehouse founded

2016 - Whirly Ball World Championship Match held between Adamson Systems and d&b audiotechnik

2018 - UK warehouse expanded

2020 - Eighth Day Sound joins Clair Global Corporation
